At the end of the coming week, 2K Sports and Visual Concepts will launch the basketball simulation NBA 2K22. Now the developers have also revealed details about this year’s edition of myTeam mode.
New modes, new Seasons and more
The myTeam draft introduces a new multiplayer mode in which you select the complete setup of player cards. Through each draft you get a guaranteed league pack and at least one pick on a draft-exclusive climb. The 100 is again a reinterpretation of the 3-counter-3 mode that brings to additional rewards.
Furthermore, the developers had already announced that they will sit on Seasons this year. The first season carries the name Call to Ball and offers new reward cards for seasonal players. Among other things, a 93er Free Agent card from Kobe Bryant will be free-playable in the Season. When you reach Level 40, you will also receive a pink diamond Carmelo Anthony.

In addition, there will be community logos. After an in-game verification, you can display your own logo next to the username. Due to Cross Progression Support, progress is also being able to transfer progress within the same console family.
NBA 2K22 appears on 10 September 2021 for the PlayStation 5, the PlayStation 4, the Xbox Series X / S, the Xbox One, the Nintendo Switch and the PC. More news about the game can already be discovered in our topic overview.
