Mortal Kombat has been an integral part of modern fighter training. Featuring a deep and expanded history as well as plethora of other modes, the franchise has established a new standard for what is expected of its kind. After resurreving the series, NetherrealM decided to give another chance to the DC universe, creating the incredible injustice. While the influences of Ed Boon are clearly predominant in his work, he closer to his fantasy of a title filled with horror with the addition of emblematic slashers who titled the DLC content. With two successful franchises on their credit, is it time to add a third? Join me while I think about the question: What would a Netherrealm horror fighter look like? »
Mortal Kombat had some of the most horrible fingerprints seen in a video game. Kano visceral cardiac extraction at the separation of Noob Safot s crotch, the game made it laugh and tort up the audience for years. Not only would exaggerated deaths would be at horror-based characters, but it would also be the perfect opportunity to recreate classic killings from the big screen. With Jason Voorhees, you can spray your opponent with the sleeping bag that crushes the bones, while with Jigsaw, you can place your enemy in the inverted inverted bear trap. The deadly and sneaky possibilities are infinite!
One of my favorites is ASH, incompetent but too confident. With a chainsaw attached to his hand, he should use the same weapon as Leatherface. For this reason, developers should change their styles to make sure they are different. It would be a perfect opportunity to look at the humor of the franchise. The movements could be surrounded by cowardice with combos formed through a catalog of incidents. The addition of the strange one-lineiner would also help solidify his personality and act as an excellent cool to the nasty threesome.
The manic doll is prey to controversy since its creation. Beginner in Child s Play in 1998, Chucky played on psychological fears to become an icon of the genre. Small size, its lack of verticality would create interesting confrontations. Players should adapt their style of play and do not count on a combos routine to overcome the sadistic toy.
While its implementation in Mortal Kombat (2011) was a bit dull, the naughty sportsman at the razor claw is a must for any fighter on the theme of horror. Its slim silhouette and unique powers vary from the typical antagonist. Because of its speed, it would be an excellent character for those who prefer a pressure-based play style.
In 1996, Ghostface sneaked into cinemas, instantly becoming a favorite of gender fans. Anchored in reality, the antagonist differs from others because of his lack of supernatural abilities. For this reason, the character could adopt tactics of precipitation to overwhelm his opponent. It would be fantastic to play with the idea of having several ghostface versions appearing on the screen, referring to the franchise.
Animated by the Charismatic Anthony Hopkins, Hannibal LECTER Terrifies the public since 1991. Its calm and composed behavior differs from a lot on the list, making it a unique offer. I would like it to be implemented in complete restricted outfit. A mask and a force camisole, which means he can only fight with his feet and his head. This could loosen each turn, giving more options to decimate your opponent as the fight progresses.
The troubled father, Jack Torrance would be an interesting addition to the list. As he could obviously handle an ax, I would like to see his psyche play a key role in his combat method. I plan a Darkness Eternal Mental Health Counter who would change its attacks. Starting healthy, it could gradually become more unbalanced as the fight progresses. Filling the counter could give boosts and obstacles adding a risk / reward to its fighting style.
Although Jason and his blood stained hockey mask were part of the Mortal Kombat X DLC, I personally think they missed a tour with its power-based movements. Its imposing stature was incredibly realized, however, I would have loved to see a grapple system based on a combo used with the brute, similar to that of Solomon Grundy of Injustice: Gods Among US.
The master of the elaborate challenges, Jonathan Kramer Aka Jigsaw would be a brilliant fighter based on gadgets. In addition to glorious deaths that could be included, it could pile traps to control the positioning of his opponent, giving a unique approach to the fight.
With a physique similar to Jason s, Netherrealm should change the fighting style of LeatherFace to make sure they are both distinct. For this reason, an attack system per zone would be suitable for its personality. The use of his chainsaw, his hook of butcher and his chains would differentiate him from other great characters, which was a problem with his inclusion in the MKX DLC.
Who would have thought that a mask of William Shatner and a combination of boiler would combine to be one of the most frightening bad guys? Immortal Micheal Myers has many elements that would make him an essential choice for the list. Similar to Scorpion, it could appear instantly on the other side of the scene to wreak havoc with its machete. With its phenomenal strength and visceral nature, it will dominate the close fighting.
The clown man. They are bad. The most nil of all is Pennywise. The nightmare bouffon made a Malvenu return in 2017, frightening the shit of moviegoers around the world. Due to the character-related iconography, his inclusion would be a necessity. With the possibility of changing shape, it would be an interesting mechanism for Pennywise to be able to change characters, each having a set of unique movements.
No doubt the most disturbing visually, the supernatural capacities of Pinhead would make it different from others. With the power to teleport, to invoke objects in the air and to invoke the infernal cenobits to do what he wants, he would be a powerful remote fighter.
Although licensing problems can mean that it may never happen, we can always hope that Netherrealm will conclude with the devil to make it a reality.
