Free League Publishing has launched the new edition of The unique ring, a board role game based on The Lord of the Rings and other works written by JR Tolkien. This is the second edition of The One Ring role-play,, but it is the first published by Free League Publishing after they acquired the license to publish Table-based table role games last year. Free League Publishing raised more than $2 million in Kickstarter to finance the new edition in Kickstarter earlier this year. The unique ring The original designers Francesco Nepitello and Marco Maggi return for the new edition, with the game still set in the 80-year period between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. You can see official progress of the game below:
The new edition of The unique ring contains optimized and updated rules of the original. The game is divided into two phases: the adventure phase in which the players face some kind of challenge and take measures to solve them, and the phase of companionship, which occurs when the characters have time to rest and determine their next Action course The checks are performed using up to six six-sided hit dice and two 12-sided feat dice. Verifications are only done when there is a possibility of failing, or if an action is dangerous, try to obtain knowledge that is not immediately available or is trying to convince a NPC that does not cooperate to help it somehow. The players always launch the feat dice plus some number of successful dice, with a 12 in the Havana dice (or the Gandalf Rune, when used The unique ring did made of customized) being an automatic success and an 11 in The feat dice (or the Rune Sauron in the dice made to measure) being a 0 and an almost safe failure.
Currently, basic rules of One Ring, The starting set of a ring, and the screen of the One Ring Knowledge Master and Revenge Compendium are all available as digital publications, with anticipated orders available for physical versions. The physical copies of The single ring is expected to be published at the beginning of 2022.
