Netflix clears in Oscar nominations 2022
The streaming service Netflix is represented with Don’t Look Up and The Power of the Dog twice in the popular category. That looked very different a few years ago when the Academy looked down on Netflix. Overall, Netflix productions are even in the race for up to 27 Oscars this year, as much as ever. The Power of the Dog with Benedict Cumberbatch alone was able to secure twelve Oscar nominations, while Don’t look up is nominated for four Oscars. Also in our editors, the film has arrived well. The nomination of Drive My Car represents a real premiere, because this was the first time a Japanese film for the best film was nominated.
How often Dune was nominated for Oscars?
But the Sci-Fi-Epo Dune is also rejuvenated apart from the best film about nine more nominations, for example, best film music (by Hans Zimmer), best scene image, best costume design, best cut, best visual effects or best camera – especially So technical categories. By the way: The fantastic Dune film adaptation you can now get on Blu-ray and DVD.

The Middle Ages drama is not only lacking in the nominations for the best film, but is actually nominated for a single Oscar. Or can you understand that the Academy did not nominate him – betrays us your opinion and your reasons in the comments!
