AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3D: According to pre-benchmarks faster than Core I9

A few days ago, AMD had launched some new processors for the pedestal AM4 on the market – in the context of the past weekend, we also released a special to CPUs, in which the models like the Ryzen 5 5500 or Ryzen 7 5700X be included. But the star of novelties were missing: the Ryzen 7 5800x3D. The ad Addition 38 shows the crucial difference to the Ryzen 7 5800x: The cache is recrotted for the first time, namely, quasi-stacked including a direct vertical data connection, which allows minimal but potentially critical advantages in the delay of the data flow.

AMD Hits Hard: Ryzen 7 5800X3D CPU Review & Benchmarks vs. i9-12900KS

The release of the Ryzen 7 5800x3D stands for April 20, and there are already some lactic benchmarks in advance. To report WCCFECTech as well as the PC Games hardware that the Ryzen 7 5800x3D in terms of gaming should clearly exceed the fastest Intel processor, the Core i9-12900K.

At The Witcher 3, the FPS values of the new Ryzen on average are 22 percent higher than at the Core I9, at Shadow of the Tomb Raider it is 10 percent. However, there are also many games where the values of both CPUs are on the same level – here it could be that the graphics card could be limited, so that a potentially existing advantage of the Ryzen 7 does not show. Slower is the new Ryzen but never.

It will be interesting at which price the new Ryzen processor will be presented in the market. The price recommendation of AMD is $ 449, which is identical to the RVP of the Ryzen 7 5800X, which is currently available from 330 euros in Germany. But one may assume that the latter price is long ago below the RVP that the Ryzen 7 5800x3D will cost release and in the consequences more. Incidentally, the Core I9-12900K costs 580 euros, which in games barely slower Core i7-12700K is likely to be the direct competitor with 400 euros.
