An unofficial soundtrack created by delusion of Ridge Racer new work is delivered. Kota Takahashis latest album who worked on the songs in the series

Composer Kota Takahashi released the latest album Reiwa Type 4 on BOOTH/BANDCAMP on July 3. The price is 3080 yen. It is said that this work created a new Ridge Racer series work delusion.

Kota Takahashi is a composer who was once enrolled in Namco (now Bandai Namco Entertainment). He has provided many games to many games, including independence. His participants include Ace Combat 2, Tekken 5, Tekken Smash Brothers for Wii U, Barrett Soul-Soul Soul-, and Fit Boxing 2. He also participated in the Remaster version of the Wind Chronoa series this week.

He is particularly involved in the racing game Ridge Racer series, and is known for providing songs in R4 RIDGE RACER TYPE 4, Ridge Racer V, Ridge Racer 6, and Ridge Racers.

And Reiwa Type 4, which was distributed this time, includes the latest song of the Ridge Racer for Delusion. It is an album in which Takahashi imagined the new Ridge Racer series in his head and collected songs that he had built. Looking at the documents of the government office, I realized that 4 years was R4, and thought, This year is the first and last opportunity to be able to involve this in the album name! He wanted to do it.

The Ridge Racer series is a popular racing game following the Ridge Racer, which was operated in the arcade in 1993. For consumers, new works have been released at the same time as the release of PS1, PS2, PS2, PS3, PSP, PSP, PS Vita, Nintendo 3DS, and Xbox 360, and it will be familiar to gamers as a classic launch title.

The series has been released, but except for mobile, no new work has been released since RIDGE RACER UNBOUNDED, which was released overseas in 2012. Only the numbering title goes back to Ridge Racer 7 released in 2006. Although it is not clear why the new release has been cut off, Bandai Namco’s producer Katsuhiro Harada had previously stated that it would be very difficult to revive the Ridge Racer series as a personal opinion.

Under such circumstances, Kota Takahashi seems to have been delusional of the new work and continued to create an unofficial soundtrack. He commented, After all, it was harder than I expected to repeat the number of songs alone.

Kota Takahashi’s latest album Reiwa Type 4 is on sale at BOOTH/BANDCAMP. He states that there are still many sketches for songs with similar concepts, and will announce it as soon as possible.
